- How do I subscribe to Personal Vault?
- Personal Vault is being finalised. Join the waitlist from the Personal Vault card and we will email you the moment paid subscriptions open, with the £4.99/month price locked in. No card is charged while you are on the waitlist, and your data stays exportable forever.
- Is my data really encrypted?
- That is the design, not a live service: there is no vault today, so no data is stored yet. GeraMind is being built with client-side encryption using keys we never see, open-source crypto primitives (libsodium / age), and independent audits planned. Lose your password and we will not be able to recover your data — that is the trade-off for true privacy.
- How does AI search work without seeing my data?
- That is the planned design: on-device embeddings on mobile and desktop, with an encrypted index. Server-side AI assist is planned as opt-in only, running against decrypted snippets in ephemeral memory — never logged, never used for training. None of this is live yet.
- Can I export everything?
- That is a launch commitment: one-click export to plain Markdown, JSON, or PDF, with folder structure and tags preserved. No vendor lock-in. There is nothing to export today because no vault exists yet.
- How is this different from Notion, Evernote, or Apple Notes?
- Notion and Evernote read your data to power features and ads. Apple Notes is iOS-only and has no real semantic search. GeraMind is being built to be end-to-end encrypted, cross-platform (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, web), and centred on AI recall. It is in pre-launch, so none of that is available today.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes — once Personal Vault launches you will be able to cancel any time via the unsubscribe link in any billing email, no phone calls, no retention dark patterns. Your encrypted vault stays accessible read-only with full export for 90 days after cancellation.
